Dr. T. Mounika Rao is an ENT, head and neck surgeon with training in endoscopic and microscopic surgery of the ear, nose and throat. She completed her MS in ENT at Mamata Medical College, Khammam, followed by a fellowship in Advanced Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery at Royal Pearl Hospital, Trichy.
Her focus is endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery: procedures done through the nose with no external cuts, faster recovery and less pain. She also performs ear surgeries such as tympanoplasty and stapedotomy, thyroid surgery, and care for children's ENT problems.
She has presented and published on endoscopic septoplasty, newborn hearing screening and CSF leak repair, and earned second prize in the junior consultant category of the Smt. Susheela Krishna Memorial Medal at AOITSCON 2022.
